Quest for the Stars Opening Reception

| Join us to enjoy light refreshments, engage in conversation, and explore the International Women’s Air & Space Museum’s newest exhibit. This project explores the stories of women in our global quest for space, and provides a holistic understanding of their experiences, drive, and determination. Quest for the Stars builds upon the remarkable experience of the women referred to as the Mercury 13. Through the exhibit, learn about the first Native American female aerospace engineer, the Mercury 13, and the first class of female astronauts and those behind the scenes in our early space program.
