Inspired by the 2024 solar eclipse, ‘Manifestation of Light: Exploring the Shakers’ Celestial Inspiration‘ is an ambitious exhibition that delves into the Shaker religious sect’s use of celestial light sources, such as the sun, moon, and stars, in their artwork, writings, and worship. This exhibition is on view at the Shaker Historical Society from March 8 through August 11, 2024.
