Inspired by the 2024 solar eclipse, ‘Manifestation of Light: Exploring the Shakers’ Celestial Inspiration‘ delves into the Shaker religious sect’s use of celestial light sources, such as the sun, moon, and stars, in their artwork, writings, and worship. Join the Shaker Historical Society for the opening of this ambitious exhibition with a reception at the museum on March 8, 2024.
