Living and Working in Space
March 17, 2022 @ 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm
What is life like for astronauts in space? In honor of Women’s History Month, two international border neighbors will unite to learn about Living and Working in Space. Join the City of Waterloo Museum (Canada) who will feature their current exhibition, Health in Space, and the International Women’s Air & Space Museum (United States) as they discuss the effects of space on the human body! Learn about the female change makers who’ve been to space, what daily life is like living onboard the International Space Station, and what has been learned in over 40 years since the start of the NASA Shuttle Missions.
Registration is free, but is required. Attendees will receive a Zoom link to join the program.
The event will be recorded and made available to participants at a later date.
