Columbus Book Festival: Celebrating a Community of Book Lovers

Book Lovers Unite!

It’s back for year two and the 2024 Columbus Book Festival will feature a whole new lineup of 200+ national and Columbus-based authors, panel discussions author talks, book signings and more!

The Festival Marketplace will brim with dozens of bookish retailers, community exhibitors, an entertainment lineup, local food court and the popular Indie Author Alley pavilion and Friends of the Library Big Book Sale tent.

As always, this event is free and open to all book lovers.

Stay cool inside Main Library and hear popular authors talk about their newest books. Check out panel discussions, author talks and presentations about your favorite genres and get your books signed.

Shop local by buying featured authors’ new books from the Official Festival Bookstore and get great deals on used books at the Friends of the Library Big Book Sale tent.

Head outdoors to Kaufman Plaza and Topiary Park for entertainment, food vendors, dozens of exhibitors and new and used book sales.

Meet and greet 100 independent authors at Indie Author Alley.

Hosted by the Columbus Metropolitan Library Foundation and presented by Battelle, the Columbus Book Festival is a highlight of the library’s vison of a thriving community where wisdom prevails.
