Cincinnati’s Lost Founders

May 18 @ 10:00 am June 28 @ 6:00 pm

Come visit the Walnut Hills Branch of the Cincinnati Public Library to see “Cincinnati’s Lost Founders,” an exhibit created with support from the Harriet Beecher Stowe House and Ohio Humanities.

The exhibit will consist of panels that include text and photos of family documents that encompass information on the Fossett family’s roots at Monticello, the activism of Peter and Sarah Fossett, the changes and resilience the family experienced through two Cincinnati neighborhoods. It will conclude with a call to consider how you might work to ensure that everyone’s part in the American story is examined and celebrated.

This exhibit was supported in part by an Ohio Humanities Spark Grant.
